Dr Laura Hobbs has a research background in both environmental science and science communication. She is particularly interested in volcanic hazards and engaging underrepresented groups with science, and coordinates the Science Hunters project at Â鶹ֱ²¥.

Dr Laura Hobbs and her colleagues, from Â鶹ֱ²¥’s Science Hunters outreach project, spent three days helping 400 children explore the science of tiny invertebrates and erupting volcanoes using the computer game Minecraft.
